A HUGE thank you to the Bull Wheel for generously hosting our community Thanksgiving dinner. In addition to providing the venue, they will also be providing the turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, plateware & silverware for the tables. We are asking all who attend to bring certain items to make sure we have enough of the traditional Thanksgiving side dishes. Also we need your assistance in making this dinner a success & ask that at least 1 person from each group volunteer to help with clean-up.
Doors open at 3:30 for table decorating and bringing side dishes. Please ensure you are at the venue by 4:30 at the latest. We will start eating at 5:00pm. Clean up will begin at 7:00pm.

Please bring 1 potluck side dish per group of 4. Groups of 5 - 8, bring 2 dishes, groups of 8 - 12 bring 3.

Please ensure 1 person from your group volunteers to help clean up
You are invited (and encouraged) to bring decorations for your table.
Bring your own refreshments and glassware!!! Water will be available. Everything else is up to you. The Bull Wheel is not open for sales.
Please ensure you bring serving utensils with your traditional side dish. If your dish is to be served hot, please bring your crockpot with an extension cord (labeled with your name).
Membership renewals were due June 1st, 2023. If you have not paid your membership renewal fee of $10 you will need to do that prior to the event to receive member pricing.

The Community Block Party is an annual event that holds a special place in our community.
Everyone is welcome!
There is music, food and drinks. This year the evert is in September which means an earlier sunset allowing us to include an outdoor movie just after dusk - we anticipate the movie starting about 7:30pm. Please dress appropriately, bring a lawn chair and any drinks or snacks you want during the movie.
A HUGE thank you to Total Restoration who has generously provided the food and drinks for this event year after year!
This event is open to everyone who wants to attend! Full time and seasonal residents, visitors, staff….anyone and everyone.
The event will be held in the field at the Big White Mountain Community School. The entrance to the school is at the south east corner of the Happy Valley Parking Lot.
There is limited parking at the school but you can park in Happy Valley and walk down the entrance.

Welcome to the Big White Community Summer Camp! We welcome the kids of Big White to join us on a drop-in or weekly basis. Our focus is to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in a fun and safe environment. The activities schedule is currently being developed and will be shared here when complete. 2024 Big White Community Clean-Up
This year’s Big White Community Cleanup is now a two day Beautification and Fire Smart event over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of June.
As usual we will spend half a day cleaning up Big White but this year we have added a new Chipping program, Fire Smart Presentations, Home Assessments and Emergency preparedness including a presentation on Big White Fire Departments Wildfire Defense plan.

Big White Community Clean Up

Big White Ski Resort is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist in cleaning the debris and garbage that's been buried under the snow at Big White this season. This is a great way to bond with other members of the local community while also giving back to our incredible mountain!
Meet in the Village, up by The Market and Snowshoe Sams at 9:00 am for a group photo before heading out for the Big White Community Clean Up.
Restore Big White's beauty for the summer season, then enjoy a complimentary lunch from noon.
Registration/sign-in will take place in the Village beside The Market
Only those that register at 9am will be given a lunch voucher
Please come dressed for the conditions including proper footwear
Disposable gloves and large garbage bags will be provided

Community and Business Social and Information Session
The Big White Mountain Community Development Association (BWMCDA) and Big White Mountain Chamber of Commerce are hosting a community and business social at The Fourth Ace Bar and Smokehouse.
This event is free to all members. Not a member? Simply sign up for the BWMCDA or the Chamber of Commerce. Membership comes with all kinds of perks.
Event starts at 6:30. This will be a casual affair with lots of mingling and connecting with other members.

Big White Community Clean-Up Day
Help us clean up our beautiful mountain! Big White, in conjunction with Joan Wolf, the Big White Mountain Community Development Association, The Big White Fire Department and Total Restoration, is hosting the annual community clean up and volunteer bbq. Meet in the village at 9am, sign up to clean and get your token for the bbq at noon.
