About Us
Our Vision
Our vision is to engage, represent and enhance our diverse community by co-ordinating the delivery of programs, events, services, and facilitating community partnerships.
Our Past
In the beginning, significant effort went into understanding the different ways for our group to organize , whether that be as a chamber, municipality, local community committee or other. Ultimately, after exploring our options and what form best supported our vision, we landed on the verdict that a community association was the best fit.
Our Present
Years later, we are guided by our vision and guiding principles including working together to leverage our collective strengths, being an empowered and accountable membership, and ensuring sustainability is at the forefront of our decision making and activities.
Our Future
Moving into the future, we know that if we are to deliver on our vision we need to continually grow our membership, strengthen our community partnerships, and create sustainable revenue and resource streams. But most importantly we are here to have fun and take care of each other; after all without its people, what is a community?
